Boulder Opal is one of our favorites to work with for jewelry, because they display an array of dazzling colors within one striking gemstone. Boulder Opals tend to display a lot of medium-hue blues, reminiscent of Turquoise or Caribbean waters. Boulder Opal is naturally attached to ironstone which adds to its durability and sets it apart from Doublets which are artificially adhered to other material to increase their durability.
